Our bill, SB 341, is moving forward! The first Senate Education Committee hearing is scheduled for March 19, and we need your support to make an impact. This bill takes a critical first step in restarting and expanding California's unused, unfunded Instructional School Garden Program (ISGP) to include instruction and maintenance, ensuring school districts can integrate garden-based learning into the curriculum.
New deadline to sign on: EOD Tuesday, March 12, 2025. Letters submitted after will still be valuable for the next hearing.

- Time: Hearing begins at 9:00 a.m. (SB 341 expected late morning, 9:00 a.m. arrival recommended)

- In-person only – no call-ins
- State your name, organization, and position (support) for SB 341
- Any number of supporters can attend, but time may be limited

Calling all students, teachers, school administrators, parents, advocates, and organizations who want to advocate for school garden-based education! Register to join us on April 9 in Sacramento to share about school garden-based education to raise awareness for the need of instructional school gardens with your legislators! Our resource provides participants with everything they need to:
- Fundraise to cover travel costs
- Schedule meetings with representatives
- Discuss key points
